Are you looking for the right representation? Well, you're lucky that you are reading this article. There exists a smart, upstart, forward thinking entertainment company ready to jump right in and help you out, that company being On That Note.
I know, I know, you would like some more information on what these guys do right? Well, you are in luck. I had the opportunity to talk with On That Note's publicist, Falynn Bleiberg.
PhiladelphiaAtHome: What is it that you do at On That Note? Falynn Bleiberg: On That Note Entertainment is a full service entertainment company. We handle Booking, Publicity, and Management for regional and nationally touring artists. In addition to that, we are constantly looking for ways to expand our business within the music industry. We are currently looking to branch out into show promotion, and event planning right now.
PHI: What types of services do you offer bands? Bleiberg: We currently offer the services of Booking, Publicity, and Management. Some artists use us for multiple services, while other only use us for one.
PHI: How long have you been in business? Bleiberg: The company was started at the beginning of 2005. However, our booking agents and publicists have years of prior experience in the music industry.
PHI: Are you currently accepting new artists? Bleiberg: We are currently accepting unsolicited demos via mail or online through our electronic submissions partner Sonicbids.
PHI: What types of artists are you looking for? Bleiberg: We don’t limit ourselves to representing artists in any one genre. We work with any artists as long as they are talented, hard working, and respectful. Our reputation is one of the most important things we have in this industry, and we quickly separate ourselves from acts who will damage that reputation.
PHI: Can bands submit materials to you for consideration? Bleiberg: Yes, we are currently accepting submissions via mail or at www.sonicbids.com/onthatnote.
**Further information regarding submissions guidelines can be found by clicking here.
PHI: What artists are currently on your roster? Bleiberg: We currently represent 10-15 acts exclusively between our booking and publicity rosters, and another 10-15 on our college roster. This is spread out over four booking agents and one publicist, so no one is spread out too thin. We pride ourselves on keeping things small and personal.
PHI: What is it that separates On That Note from all other artist management companies? Bleiberg: The thing that makes us stand out from other agencies is that we keep things personal and keep our roster small enough so that we can give our full attention to the artists to ensure that we do the best possible job for them.
PHI: Does it cost anything for bands to be represented by you? Bleiberg: The only cost that is involved is our agency fee.
PHI: How would bands be able to contact you? Bleiberg: Via our website: www.onthatnote.net, or our MySpace page – www.myspace.com/onthatnoteentertainment. |
