New Shows at World Cafe Live!  |

World Cafe Live will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3rd at 1 P.M. Here is how to participate: Six Easter eggs will be placed around Center City & University City with a pair of tickets in each for a certain show! First, you’ll need to follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/worldcafelive and on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., we will tweet six clues to help you find the eggs. Each clue is paired with one show: Ozomatli, Jason Collett, Aqualung, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All-Stars, and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger & Paper Bird! Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to let you know which clue goes with which show so you can be sure to hunt down the right one! When you’ve found the egg, tweet us back!
Next Tuesday, April 6th join us for a free screening of the 1989 film "The Wizard", followed by a Nintendo Classic video game competition brought to you by Plug & Play Events, and a live concert by Agent Moosehead of the music you remember from classic NES games! Enjoy bargain craft beers and awesome prizes for those who participate in the video game competition on our giant projection screen - $5 for the competition, but watch the movie for free! There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the highest scores on games including Tetris, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Duck Hunt, Contra, Excitebike, and Super Mario Brothers 3, with the grand prize going to the winner of our Super Mario Brothers 3 Challenge.
