Tim McGraw Reflects On The Super Bowl's Appeal
Tim McGraw says he's not surprised the Super Bowl typically draws a big audience. The singer notes that while it's the NFL championship, it's really much more than a football game.
But this year McGraw -- who admits he's a big football fan -- has a vested interest in the actual game. As a Louisiana native he's thrilled to be seeing the New Orleans Saints make their first Super Bowl appearance. Super Bowl 44 is coming up this Sunday. The Saints will face the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL championship game, taking place at Miami's Sun Life Stadium. CBS is carrying the game, with coverage starting at noon Eastern. Carrie Underwood will sing the national anthem before kick-off, which is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. Eastern. |
