In 1977 Iggy Pop signed a record deal with RCA. In 1987 The Cure's album "Standing On A Beach - The Singles" was certified Gold. In 1994 The Gin Blossoms "Found Out About You" peaked at number 25 on the pop singles chart. In 1998 Korn's video "Who Then Now?" was certified Gold. In 1999 Smashing Pumpkins' album "Gish" was certified Platinum. In 2002 Kiss provided the music at the 3rd annual Lane Bryant Intimate Apparel Runway Show at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. In 2003 Elvis Costello and Sinead O'Connor were among the performers at a benefit concert for London's Old Vic Theater. Metallica announced plans for the Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003, which also featured Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. In 2004 The Strokes performed at the second of a four-night pre-Grammy benefit concert series in support of VH1's Save the Music Foundation. Former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon walked out on the UK reality show "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here."
