Wyclef's Manager Reportedly Fired Over Naked Picture
Wyclef Jean and his manager have parted ways amidst rumors of scandal. But the rapper is focused on rebuilding his homeland of Haiti and isn't spending time thinking about those rumors. The "New York Post" reports that 'Clef's former manager, Lisa Ellis, was fired over a nude photo. The photo of Ellis was reportedly sent to Jean, who left it visible on either his computer or cell phone. That's where his wife, Marie Claudinette, saw it and demanded Ellis be fired. Ellis, on the other hand, says she no longer works for Jean for a different reason. She says, quote, "I quit being Wyclef's manager just because I don't like the way he does business. The photo has nothing to do with anything...that photograph was taken for a book."
Haitian photographer Marc Baptiste, who is known for his artistic nude photography, took the photo of Ellis. She says she doesn't regret posing nude for Baptiste. Ellis says, quote, "I regret that people chose to leak things and make up stories." |
