Mudvayne's "Beautiful" Video Banned
Mudvayne has a new video that many may not see. It's been banned from most networks due to its graphic content. Singer Chad Gray tells Noisecreep.com that the clip is actually the second portion of a three-part series. One of the more intriguing images in the clip is of a girl's lips being sewn shut, which Gray says was not a simulated act. He says director Frankie Nasso was at a party with the band's production manager, and they witnessed it firsthand. Gray notes, quote, "After they got over the shock, they decided that she had to have a place in the video." The clip depicts a man emerging from a grave to share relations with a female corpse as she's brought back to life. Gray admits the ban might not be all that bad for the band. He says, quote, "I believe that there is as much, if not more, value to the interest created by a banned video as there is in promoting it through traditional channels." The only place currently airing the clip is Vampirefreaks.com. Gray says it's already reached 400-thousand views on the networking website.
