Hockey Comes "Away" With Jerry Harrison-Produced Track
As Hockey builds a name with their debut album, "Mind Chaos," frontman Ben Grubin notes that some of the tracks on the disc are from different stages in the group's development. He says their latest single, "Song Away," is from an early session with producer Jerry Harrison. The singer explains that while they didn't keep Harrison at the helm for the entire project, it wasn't because they didn't appreciate working with the ex-Talking Heads member.
Over time, Hockey evolved into a four-piece band that features Grubin with guitarist Brian White, bassist Jeremy Reynolds, and drummer Anthony Stassi. Grubin notes that while "Song Away" sounds different from their later material they kept it because they still liked the track. |
