Heart's Single "Hey You" Makes Adult Contemporary Chart
Heart is back on the charts. "Billboard" reports that the sister act's newest single "Hey You" has hit number 30 on the magazine's adult-contemporary radio airplay chart. "Hey You" is the first song off the group's new album "Red Velvet Car," released on Tuesday. "Hey You" also marks Heart's return to the AC radio airplay chart after an absence of 16 years. The last time that the group enjoyed the distinction was in 1994 with the track "The Woman In Me" which topped out at number 24. Heart's lead guitarist Nancy Wilson says she's gratified by the early success. Wilson comments, quote, "The heat at radio reminds me of the old days. It's good to see stations adding ('Hey You') and people requesting a simple love song I've had in my back pocket for quite awhile." Fans who want to catch Heart live this week can see the Wilsons rock at the DTE Energy Center in Clarkston, Michigan on Friday.
