Taylor Swift Enjoying The Excitement Over Her New CD
The arrival of Taylor Swift's CD "Speak Now" is still more than a month away, but the project has already been generating quite a bit of buzz. The singer-songwriter admits she's pleased with all the excitement that's surrounding the release.
"Mine," the lead-off single from "Speak Now," has been doing well on the charts since it was rushed to radio early following an Internet leak. Meanwhile, Billboard.com has reported that industry insiders are anticipating strong sales when the album hits stores. ATO Records and Red Light Management President and CEO Will Botwin recently told the website he believes Swift's "Speak Now" could achieve a now-rare feat and log over one-million sales in its first week out. The last CD to top the one-million mark in first-week sales was Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter Three" following its release in June 2008. Swift's "Speak Now" will be available on October 25th. |
