Silversun Pickups Considering New Music
Silversun Pickups continue to tour in support of their "Swoon" album, but they know the time is nearing to start thinking about new music. Drummer Christopher Guanlao tells ChartAttack.com fans shouldn't expect the group to begin working on the effort before 2011, noting the band has more road work ahead of them. He says they also might give themselves a break this winter, but adds, quote, "we probably won't take too much time off though, just a month. We get pretty antsy during time off." Guanlao says that even with touring, there have been some new musical ideas emerging here and there, but nothing that is a definite for the next record. He admits, quote, "We're not multi-taskers. We like our time off the road. It kind of keeps us sane." Silversun Pickups will launch an Australian tour in Adelaide on September 22nd. |
